R12.1.3 - Repair order- WIP Job -Assembly item added as a component automatically-how to avoid this?

1.Created an SR/RO

2.Repair item on the RO is AAAAA

3: We created a Repair & Return with Logistics line - RMA & Ship lines created with Order Number  Y.

4.Received the RMA line

5.Created a WIP job with item AAAA and had default Routings .

6.The WIP job created has parent item AAAA as a component

We dont want Assembly item to be a component and how to avoid this?I dont understand why Parent item has to be Component item as well?

Please advise
