Analyze AWR understand difference between times cpu and elapsed

hello,

     i have a problem timesout, with ora-3113/3114 during a treatment ETL. then during this time i executed a AWR. and i see a high time difference between cpu and elapsed.

cpu time = 3,65 and elapsed 191,30

i would like understand the difference between the 2 time and where i can see this diffrence.
