Generate Asset lines interface reversal exceptions - Original Asset Not posted

Hi,

I am trying to capitalize an asset. I ran generate asset lines and then I ran " PRC : Interface assets to Oracle Assets" . The lines got interfaced but after that the asset number wasn't generated because the depreciation account was missing. So I tried to reverse the process. So I reversed the asset and entered the depreciation account. But now whenever I run "Generate Asset Lines" , I am getting "Interface reversal Exceptions" as Original Asset Not Posted. I checked in KM Search, and this was the fix that I found :

Workaround:
Transfer these transactions to other assets, which are not retired, using 'Split Asset' functionality and then run the process PRC: Interface Assets to Oracle Assets.
