Siebel Authentication to retrieve a File from Non Siebel FS

This is with regard to Siebel Authentication and retrieve a file located in non Siebel File System. Basically, we have archived attachments from Siebel FS and moved to other location, mounted on Siebel Web Server. Corresponding DB records are deleted from Siebel and a new record is inserted using EIM of type URL under attachments, which will lead to the new archive location.

Now the Security team has raised concern on having NO authentication while accessing the files from archive location. Security requirement is to verify or authenticate the session that is trying to access the file.

Following approaches are considered:
