Stocking in different UOM for same Item across BU

We have a two Inventory Business Units that stock the same Item. Business Unit 1 wants to stock it in CA and Business Unit 2 wants to stock it in EA. You can only have one Default Stocking UOM which we have right now at EA.  What is the best method to set up the Items to accomplish stocking and issuing in the correct UOM for each Business Unit?
