Workaround when GOP Plan completes in error

Hi VCP Experts

What are possible workarounds which can be followed when GOP plan completes in error . Client have 2 Manufacturing Plant and 50 distribution Orgs attached to GOP Plan . Every day around 2000 orders are booked . If the GOP plan completes in error , we will not be able to schedule and book the order.Sometimes it can take couple of days to fix the issue.What best can be done at this situation .
