E1 Financial Report Version related question

I have following data sequencing defined in a custom Financial report (using view V8500001) (No update)

While creating a version, I do not need Business Unit level details and I am trying to remove Business unit from Columns Sorted area. However, it does not allow me to remove it.

If this is by design, I was expecting left arrow to be grayed out. Is it a bug?

I want to avoid making changes to version in RDA. Also, I want to avoid replicating the report and create a new version. Any suggestions?
