Is installboot still necessary for Solaris 10u11

Hi,

Is it necessary to installboot on new disk?

I am confused now. It seems like it is necessary when i first started learning SVM but now the Oracle document did not mention anything about installboot during disk replacement.

Should i still continue to do it? Or am i right to say that it isn't necessary for the latest edition of Solaris 10?

Please advise.
