CPU Patch October 2015

Hi,

Need clarification on OCT CPU 2015 patch.

OCT CPU 2015 apply to IP 14 & IP 15 versions (Siebel) only.  Also there are products which gets affected such as DB, OHS.

My customer Siebel version is  8.1.1.7.  Can I still go ahead patch other products such as OHS and DB (OCT CPU 2015)?
