Service Request Form - Serial Number Search

Hello,

Serial Number search is searching for all the Serial Numbers, instead of searching for the Serial Numbers of the Account selected in Service Request. We are facing this issue after Maintenance Patching. In Test Instance I have set 'Service: Restrict Installed Base list by Account' to Yes and the issue got fixed. But in another Test Instance on which Patching is not done, search is restricted to Account without setting the profile value to Yes. I wanted to check if this is the only solution. Any help is appreciated.
