Customer master changes update Closed sales orders

Should address changes done in the customer master records automatically refresh the new address in Closed sales orders? 

Open orders makes sense but we are seeing orders in closed status also reflecting changes done in customer AFTER the orders were already closed and invoiced.  This is will be an audit concern if this is not a bug
