quantity fails to satisfy reservation

Hi,

I have created a lot control & shelf life enabled item, whose expiration date is today, still while booking SO, I am getting message as Quantity fails to satisfy reservation.

Can anybody help how to solve this, as the item is still not expired, system should not give this error message.
