Enterprise Manager and EM Database Express

We have 2 databases (database a and b for example) on one common server with Oracle version 11.2.0.4. currently.

 

If we want to upgrade only one of them, let’s say database a,  to the new release 12c, the upgrade process requires to remove the 11g Enterprise Manager Database control and replace it  with Oracle EM Database Express running under version 12c.

 

Question: will it still be possible to still work with database b and use Enterprise Manager Database Control for database b which still has Oracle 11g as database version (and which we want to keep for the time being)  ?
