Export to Excel Error

Users are issue exporting financial reports to excel 2013. I'm running 11.1.2.4 Essbase and Financial Reporting on server 2012 r2. These same reports export to excel no problem in our old environment so I was wondering if there some options I need to set that causing the report failures.
