I would like to know more on ARM

Hi, we are loading balances to ARM from FDMEE, I know the process on Import and validate process in FDMEE and coming to ARM our source system is GL(file) and sub system is people soft balances and I know about profile creation, copying profile to periods, data load and going to rec view and checking the balances but apart from this I would like to know few more points like

1. How exactly a company will get benefited by using an ARM tool

2. A little more on source system and sub system balances and the reconciliation process

3. Automation in ARM
