Implementing Public Sector Project

Hi All,

We are trying to implement a public sector project and are trying to finalize if Oracle Projects has to be implemented in addition to Oracle Grants Accounting as well? Below is our understanding so far:

Through OGA, we can implement Awards, Project Costing features, Project Billing Features, Burdened cost and some features of Project Management for sponsored projects. There is a detailed list of functionalities that is supported/not-supported by OGA which is provided in User Guide as well as many other Documents.

But there lies our confusion as well.

1. We still do not understand if in addition to the features provided by OGA, will there be any need for having a full fledged Oracle Projects implemented? In a public sector project - will we ever have a need to not use the grants features and have a simple Oracle Projects functionality?

Howdy, Stranger!
