Service: Default Manual Modifier profile does not display the modifier defined

  On R12.1.3  Service request- Charges functionality.

 

Create an SR

Create an Expense charge line activity with item being EXPENSE with selling price as 1. 

I have defined my expense item with default selling price is 1 dollar. Expense incurred on meals was 25 dollars and we updated the net price as 25.00 and submitted the sales order in entered status.I have defined a OM modifier-surcharges with 25%. 

The OM selling price is now 1 + 25% which is 1.25 and we expected it to be 25.00 + 25%=  31.25 

We could figure that the updated netprice in charges did not get passed to Sales order. 

On Analysing, we found that Service: Default Manual Modifier profile needs to be defined of type discount for the net price to be passed to OM.
