Billing and Amortization entries still being generated while contract is being cancelled

Hello Folks,

I have a query, How we can stop amortization of the cancelled contract and why -ve RI is generated while cancelling the contract.
Please let me know if any one come across the same scenario and have any work around to stop getting -ve RI while cancelling the contracts.
