siebel workflow component parameter question

We cloned the workflow component and created a new workflow component for Marketing campiagn purposes. When we cloned the component some parameters are different from the ones which out of box workflow component has. We wanted to know what these parameters does and how important it is to change the values of these parameters. The parameters are "Method", "ServiceName", "SearchSpec", "KeyBasedEnabled".
