MRP Solver logic, flow,steps?

Hi,

I am looking for any helpful documentation on how does PeopleSoft Supply Planning MRP solver work to meet the supply and demand requirements. If any documentation about logic it uses, steps it executes or flow of calculation, exists then please do share. The Solver code is black box and can't be seen.The trace file from solver is complex and does not provide insight on how it calculates supply or demand.
