11.1.2.2.500 HSVDatasource crashes on log on by user

Over the last couple of weeks we have had issues with a couple of users that when they logged on to the HFM environment either via the web or smartview that they as a result crashed the Hsvdatasource.  Has anybody experienced similar problems.  There does not seem to be a correlation between users as they are in different countries nor have we changed the environment apart from a generic OS patch installs.
