System Activity Object for Custom/New Business Components

Hi,

We have a requirement where a mail is sent through F9 from Project Screen and Activity is created. But the created activity is not associated under the project as the Project Id is null on the Activity.

We went through some blogs according to which the new bc should be added under the System Activity Object. In our case the BC is Project, we have added the BC but not sure where and how to add its Id like how it is configured for Opportunity or SR BC's.

Can anybody suggest something on this ?
