Update Inventory Cost level

What is the impact if updating the Inventory Cost Level to ‘3’ (Item/WA/Location/Lot) when several transactions already exist for same Item with Inventory Cost Level = ‘2’ (Item/Branch only)?

 

Item is setup with Weighted Average Cost and the Inventory Cost Level is not allowing to calculate properly.

 

Will the system recalculate the Cost per Item/Branch/Lot for all the existing transactions? Or just for transactions performed after?
