how to change the default error message in Siebel?

Hi Oracle Community,

we have the requirement to throw a user friendly message in place of the default error message thrown by escript on the User Interface.

We found the following link where it is explained how to do it:

but we wouldn't like to use the try-catch block.Is there another way to change the default error message?.

We would appreciate a soon answer.
