An error occurred while creating an application

Hi All,

We have just installed EPM 11.1.2.4 on Linux with Oracle DB. I have applied the latest patch set recommended for Planning.

I am able to navigate to Classic Planning Administration and create a data source.

However i am unable to create any  planning application. Wierdly enough I dont see a single log file being update on the domain/servers/planning0/logs folder or the diagnostics folder.

Any pointers will are much appreciated,
