Template Text Output in Incorrect Font

We have a new AP Clerk with a new machine, etc.  She was attempting to print a check batch that she processed using an existing RTF template.  Everything about the checks looked perfect except there was a portion of text on the template (Void after 180 days) that is defined as Courier New on the template, but was printing in MICR font on the printed output!?!  Existing users printed OTHER batches with no problems, but when attempting to reprint this particular batch, experienced the same issue.  I'm mostly convinced it's some kind of setup issue since she is a new
