Are project AutoAccounting Rules used in a vision instance?

I'm trying 'influence' the supplier invoice distribution account being generated from the project account in a 12.1.3 vision instance.

I start by going to 'Assign AutoAccounting Rules' in Projects, Vision Services.

I lookup function 'Supplier Invoice Cost Account' for  function transactions 'All Supplier Invoices' and see that rules have been paired with each of the account segments.

I then look up the rules, for example 'Exp Type to Indirect Cost Account' and see that it's been mapped to lookup set 'Exp Type/Indirect Cost Acct' and this lookup set contains a pairing of expenditure types and and segment values.

It all looks good but it's clearly not being used in the generation.
