Optimal SGA for 600GB Database

Hi,

We recently upgraded to Oracle 11g (11.2.0.4) and I am trying to determine an optimal size for our SGA. We have a transactions based database that is approximately 600GB. The database is running in Solaris 10. I was just wondering if there are any guidelines or documentation that can help me determine optimally what the SGA size should look like. I know I can't get to an exact size because environments vary. The recommendations fromEnterprise Manager varies depending on activity on the database,
