Auto-Allocation of Serial Number

Hi There,

We have very specific requirement. Our business would like to auto-allocate serial numbers during auto pick pack & ship process only for one sub inventory. Pls note we do not want to allocate across sub inventories.

E.g. : Inventory Org is A . A1 & B1 are two sub inventory under A . We want only B1 sub inventory to have that feature of Auto-Allocation of Serial Numbers during Auto PPS.

On Metalink, found doc ID - 1332302.1 . It recommends to use custom hook and change the Org Parameter setting to look at this hook. By Using above hook I can take reference of lookup to look at specific for sub-Inventor, B1.
