Large amount of log*.xml, *.trc, *trm filled up file system, how to disable them ?

Hi all,

In one of my Oracle 12c database, many log.xml files are generated almost every minute in $ORACLE_BASE/diag/rdbms/db_unique_name/db_name/alert directory. Also there are large amount of *.trc and *.trm generated in  $ORACLE_BASE/diag/rdbms/db_unique_name/db_name/trace directory. Please may I know if there is a way to disable them, and turn on only if there is an issue with the database.
