RPM Future Retail Rollup running long

Good morning,

     I would like to get some guidance on RPM Future Retail Rollup job running long for one of our client. From my understanding this job will rollup the SKU level records which has same matching criteria from RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL table. We have only 3.3 million records present in this table.  Initially we had this job run under the nighty batch in the RPM chain. For some reason, this job fails with connection error.

     Then we noticed that this job is taking more hours and it is affecting the system availability.  So we started running this job in adhoc after RPM batch completes in the nightly cycle. Even after running this job in adhoc daily, this is taking more hours to complete.  We also ensured that there are no blocking sessions when this job is running.
