Siebel Object Manager sessions hang when trying to fetch >200K records

(Sorry if i cannot explain better but I'm not an expert... only an ACS TAM...)

During an on site assessment the Siebel Expert found that in few cases we had Object Manager session hangs if the fetching of >200K records is done in the single Siebel View.

Customer today asked me if this limitation of 200 K records fetching will be deleted from one of the next Siebel releases (I am assuming NO as I feel this limitation is by design) and / or the consequent hang can be avoided.

Specifically:

1) if the hang is no more happening but it is replaced (by design) with an error message advising the user that they cannot do the operation
