Field does not appear in XML after changing display length & edit code

I have a custom report that generates XML for BI Publisher. Everything was working fine. I changed the display length of a field with alias AE01 from 7 to 15 and its Edit Code to J. After this change, this field does not appear in the XML anymore. I changed it back to the original setting but it does not appear in the xml also. 

Do you know why?
