Rebuildable parrent addition

Hi All,

I had created rebuildables by doing miscellaneous receipt, I want to add capital parent asset to  rebuildable. After adding the parent through configuration history, system should reduce the on hand quantity and change the location status of rebuildable from stores to  field in the rebuildable screen. this is not  happening in our instance we are 12.2.3.Kindly advice on this, if we add parent to a rebuildable system should reduce the on hand .this was happening in 12.1.3 not sure about 12.2.3
