mapping issue

I am using a table conversion in E1 9.1 to import a flat file into jde. On the table conversion director, select input, text file, i am required to specify the location of the flat file with exact directory and path. Now my question is, is it possible to set this path as a variable. If I am importing the file from PY environment, I would set up a path specific to PY environment and likewise with PD environment.
