Is it possible to use the class and attribute system to Product Promotion directly in Innovation Pac

Dear Experts,

Is it possible to use the class and attribute system to Product Promotion directly in Innovation Pack 2014 (IP 2014).

We gone through below POC. Is it correct Process or any guidelines from Oracle.

Step 1

Create a Promotion "Promotion A" from Product Promotion view and Type = Bundled Promotions

Step 2

Created 2 attribute

1. "Region" = Asia, Europe

2. "Country" = Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Spain, France

Created a class "Region class" and associated above attributes to class.

Step 3

Query the Name (Promotion A) of Promotion product in Product Definitions view

Lock the Promotion product and assign the class (Region Class)

Updated Structure Type = Customizable.

Step 4

Associated Child Product as a component Product of Promotion product in Product Promotion View --> Products --> Components.
