Question on Sales Price Based on Date Advanced Preference

We are on E1 9.0 and are trying to use the Advance Preference Schedules to set the Price Effective Date during Sales Order entry using Advanced Preference Type 18.  We wanted the price to be based on the Actual Ship Date and have R49250 set to use that date at invoicing time. So the price on the invoice is correct.  We are using Transportation and have embedded lead times for delivery and for production.  When the order is entered, the Price Effective Date is set to the same calculated dates that come from Transportation.  Once the ladies reroute the orders,
