Configuration merging in 14.1.1

All,

We are building two different configuration on same rpas version 14.1.1 to validate different business scenarios for AP. The hierarchy structures,styles are same only measures, workbooks are different. Now we need to merge both config to make a single configuration and deploy. For configuration2 measures/workbook, apart from adding those on top of configuration1 manually, is there any other approach available or can be considered?
