Stopped the oswatcher explicitly but TFA still start it up

Hi,

I am using TFA version 12.1.2.5.0 that installed together with GI 12c.

Based on the oracle documentations,

#

Running OSWatcher from

TFA allows TFA to control the state and to monitor the status of OSWatcher which will ensure it is

always running (unless explicitly stopped by an administrator) when TFA is running (again, TFA runs

out of init so it should always be running).

#

I tried several option below to stop the oswatcher explicitly, but still TFA will startup the oswatcher again. Anyone has any idea why this could happens?

1. Kill -9 osw process at unix level

2. tfactl stop oswb

3. /u01/app/grid/product/12.1.0.2/tfa/abc1/tfa_home/ext/oswbb/stopOSWbb.sh

Howdy, Stranger!
