Customization of Horizontal Plan

Hi

We are trying to add a new row in horizontal work bench for calculation of projected available balance , we know data  is not stored anywhere and for customization we need to use msc_material_plan temp table .We tried updating column quantity36( For User Defined row as provided by  oracle ) in the same table , however it not reflecting in Horizontal work bench ..

Can some one can give more update how exactly this customization is done
