Oracle RAC 12C installation using sub-interfaces instead of physical interfaces

Greetings,

I plan to install oracle rac 12c on linux rhel6 but unfortunately i have one physical network and as i know i should have 2 physical interfaces but i have work around and i don't if it's applicable or not

the work around is to create to sub-interfaces on this physical interface and to put each one on different subnet one for public "eth0:1"(10.5.x.x)  and second for private"eth0:1" {192.168.x.x)  just i don't know if database will able to create sub-interfaces on these sub-interfaces or not as i understand in rac operation , when cluster running  it creates sub interfaces  for physical interfaces and assign
