Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. i'm migrating a database from using host to using DNS. Is there any differences in networking, specially in case of PORT?

how to test for it and how to select a new one?

I know about the /install/portlist.ini and also emca.properties.

It just that I'm kept getting error in unable to access port.
