Cannot update bank account

I need to change a bank account to allow zero dollar payments.  I navigated to Payables Manager responsibility, Setup, Payment, Bank Accounts.  I queried the bank account in question and pulled it up.  When I select it in the resulting row, the update button greys out and will not allow me to click on it.  HELP PLEASE as I have to get this zero dollar payment in today.  Thanks.
