ARM app down and resolved after services restart, need to find out the root cause

Hi, ARM went offline and resolved after restarting the services. we are using shell scripts to start and stop the services. We have done all the research in log files along with Oracle but could not find any errors in that, so can some one suggest what would be the alternative solution to find out the root cause for this issue
