Subsequent asset expenditure depreciation

Hi,

The client wishes to depreciate/amortize the capitalized subsequent expenditures to an asset at a rate different from the actual asset's rate to depreciation. For example a machine is depreciated at 10% while the subsequent expenditure is to be depreciated at 33%. How can this be catered in Oracle ebs R12?
