Hello and Greetings,

Similar to other discussions I've found posted on in this community, I have a production database running in archivelog mode with incremental level 0 on Friday evenings and level 1 backups running Saturday thru Thursday.  We still use cold backups in our backup procedure for our application which runs on Oracle DB and we're trying to transition to hot backups.  Prior to transitioning to hot backups into our production backup operations we'd like to validate backup/disaster recovery with these backups on a new host and DB instance that we plan on using for recovery.  The following is the procedure that
