ODA 12.1.2.6 is released with Oracle Linux 6: Will this impact your backups?

The next ODA version 12.1.2.6 will be released with OEL 6.

This is just a heads-up announcement so you do not get caught by surprise.


Now might be a good time to review your current backup strategies and if needed make changes per your design vs. review once 12.1.2.6 is released

For some of you this Operating System change may impact existing backups as well as future backup strategies.

This is also a chance for some of you to leave tips for others who may not already have a clear plan on how they will address this change.


Tips for the rest of us are definitely appreciated!
