Payables ERS Invoice Exchange Rate Issue

Hello Payables Gurus,

We are facing some issues with the exchange rates used on the ERS Invocies in Primary and Secondary ledgers.

We are observing that for foreign currency transaction, in Primary Ledger SLA journals, the exchange rate used is for the receiving transaction date and for Secondary ledger SLA journals, the exchange rate used is based on the invoice date.

Similarly, for the Debit Memos that that are generated on the returns, the PL journal is using the return date exchange rate and SL journal is using the Debit memo exchange rate.

Could you please help us to understand the exchange rate logic used by the ERS(Evaluated Receipts System) invoices and the Debit memos? Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Howdy, Stranger!
