question on adop prepare

I had a question on adop prepare. From my understanding when we run an adop prepare session, it takes a snapshot of the run file system that it will use for the copy to patch fs at cutover. What would happen if some files in the Run fs custom tops get updated after the prepare is run? Will then get copied over to the patch fs during cutover?
