How to add formula columns that will follow dimension prompts?

I am attempting to create a 3 month rolling financial report in my Fusion cloud instance.  If in Financial Reporting Studio if column A contains 3 Accounting Period Prompts as members and immediately below it has PTD for Amount type. Column B contains 2 Accounting Period prompts and YTD for amount type. How can I add formula columns that each grouping of prompts will be applied to? Currently when I add a formula column it grouping the PTDs & YTDs together rather than PTD, formula1, formula2... for each accounting period.

Or is there a better way to do this? As in, could I prompt only once and change the other values to reflect the entered value?
